Foundation Stones of Two LNG pipelines in Odisha Laid by Dharmendra Pradhan

On Sunday, Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Dharmendra Pradhan has laid the foundation stones for two new LNG pipelines in Sukinda area of Jajpur district in Odisha.

These two lines; Dharma-Angul 36 inch main pipeline and Bhubaneshwar–Cuttack–Paradip 12 inch spur line at Haripur, Sukinda is like a New Year gift for the people of Odisha from the Central Government.

The foundation stone for Rs. 6000 crore LNG Terminal at Dhamra has already been done, which along with these proposed two pipelines, will be helpful for Odisha to mark a great leap in spreading the Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga in Odisha.

It is reported that the 600 km of Natural Gas pipeline is going to be constructed in Odisha and will cover 13 districts, which would be helpful in connecting Eastern India to the National Grid of Natural Gas of India.
